Anesthesiology Physician locums opportunity in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, offering flexible weekly blocks in a Level III trauma center setting.

Practice Setting

• Level III trauma center with 13 operating rooms plus endoscopy and OB suites
• Physician led anesthesia model with no CRNAs
• Cardiac, OB, trauma, spine, and general surgical services onsite

Schedule

• 8 or 10-hour weekday shifts
• Light weekday and weekend call with 30 minute response time
• Ability to schedule blocks in advance once established

Cases and Procedures

• Broad case mix including ortho, GI, urology, general surgery, spine, and vascular
• OB epidurals and cesarean sections
• Cardiac cases required with approximately 150 hearts annually

Requirements

• Board Certified Anesthesiology Physician
• Active Iowa license or IMLC in hand
