Work Where You Vacation! Door County Medical Center (DCMC), a highly rated 25-bed critical access hospital in beautiful Door County, WI, is searching for another full-time anesthesiologist due to a retirement. Currently, there are 4 full-time MD anesthesiologists performing their own cases while taking 1:4 call from home.  

Surgical cases include general surgery, GI, orthopedics, ophthalmology, podiatry, and, less frequently, pediatrics, urology, OB/GYN, spine, and ENT.  There are occasional calls to outside departments such as radiology and the emergency department. Full breadth of anesthesiology with a preference for regional skills. Pain Management a plus.

The anesthesiologists collaborate with fellow anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other physicians/medical professionals to provide comprehensive perioperative medical care.

Requirements

Education: MD/DO with accredited anesthesiology residency training and pain management a plus.

Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations:  

ABA Board Certified/Board Eligible

          WI state licensure 

          ACLS, PALS
