Description

Procedure only interventional pain coverage for an Anesthesiology, Pain Medicine, or PM&R physician in Ohio, scheduled 1 to 2 days per month in an outpatient ambulatory surgery center. No call and no clinic responsibilities.

Practice Setting

• Outpatient ambulatory surgery center setting, procedure only role
• Adult patients, age 18 and older
• No clinic responsibilities or routine office visits
• Typical throughput is approximately 15 to 20 completed procedures per full day, depending on complexity and ASC scheduling

Schedule

• 1 to 2 days per month
• Scheduled hours are 8a to 5p
• No call requirements

Cases and Procedures

• Common outpatient interventional pain procedures, including epidural steroid injections, medial branch blocks, and radiofrequency ablation
• Sacroiliac joint injections, peripheral nerve blocks
• Spinal cord stimulator trials
• Kyphoplasty and other advanced procedures when appropriately trained

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Board certified or board eligible within 5 years
• Ohio license required
• ACLS, BLS, and DEA required
