Job DescriptionLongview Regional Medical Center, is seeking a full-time BC/BE Neurologist to join a rapidly expanding private practice in Longview, Texas. Physicians may choose between a 100% outpatient or 100% inpatient Neurohospitalist practice model, providing flexibility to align the opportunity with your clinical interests and lifestyle.

Opportunity Overview
This is a ground-floor opportunity to help shape the future of neurology services in East Texas. Join an established referral network with the autonomy to develop your practice and the support of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
Choose the practice model that best fits your goals:
- Outpatient Neurology: Monday-Friday schedule with approximately 18 patients per day and no mandatory call.
- Inpatient Neurology/Neurohospitalist: 7-on/7-off schedule with approximately 10-15 consults per day.
- Established referral base with the potential for an outpatient physician to build a full schedule within the first three months.
- Dedicated nighttime tele-neurology coverage, providing additional support and allowing you to disconnect when your scheduled shift ends.
- Opportunity to develop a subspecialty niche within a general neurology practice.
Position Highlights
- Choose between 100% outpatient or 100% inpatient Neurohospitalist practice.
- Outpatient physicians enjoy no mandatory call.
- Inpatient physicians follow a 7-on/7-off schedule.
- Fully equipped clinical space with:
- On-site EEG lab
- EMG/NCS equipment
- Infusion center
- Collaborate with neurosurgery and interventional neuroradiology teams to provide stroke care at our JCAHO-certified Primary Stroke Center.
- Be part of the continued development of the neurology program as we work toward:
- Comprehensive Stroke Center designation
- Development of a Neuro ICU
- Launch of an Internal Medicine residency program in 2028
- Join an established clinical team that includes a general neurologist, nurse practitioner, and dedicated MA and nursing support.
Qualifications
Are you:
- A Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Neurologist looking to build a thriving practice in a supportive environment?
- A clinician who enjoys general neurology and would like the opportunity to develop a subspecialty focus?
- Comfortable interpreting EEGs and EMG/NCS studies?
- Interested in practicing with a high degree of physician autonomy while working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team?
Lumbar punctures and Botox procedures are not required.
Visa Sponsorship: This facility is unable to support J-1 waivers or H-1B visa sponsorship at this time.
