Specialty medical practice, a 50-year leader in Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, and Pain Management — is seeking mid-level support for its thriving Pain Management Service.
Joint Implant Surgeons of Florida is a long-established, physician-led private practice serving Lee and Collier Counties. Our pain service is an integral part of a high-volume musculoskeletal group: orthopedics, spine, and interventional pain working side by side, so patients receive highly coordinated care. We are looking for a confident, compassionate PA or NP who wants real clinical work, a predictable weekday schedule, and a team that excels at running a bustling practice.
What you will do
- Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic pain, including spine, joint, and musculoskeletal conditions.
- Perform focused histories and exams, order imaging, and build practical treatment plans.
- Provide medication management, patient education, and follow-up care in collaboration with supervising physician.
- Perform and/or assist with office-based procedures as credentialed (trigger point and joint injections; support for interventional workflows as appropriate).
- Coordinate care across orthopedics, spine, physical therapy, and interventional pain so patients stay on a coherent path.
- Document clearly in the EMR and help keep a high-volume clinic running smoothly and safely.
This is outpatient specialty work with physician backup — not a solo shop and not a hospital night shift.
Requirements
What we are looking for
- Licensed (or eligible) Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in Florida
- Strong interest in pain management, orthopedics, PM&R, spine, or musculoskeletal medicine
- Comfort in a fast-paced private-practice clinic with excellent interpersonal skills
- Procedure experience (injections) is a plus; training and support available for the right clinician
- New grads with a musculoskeletal or pain-focused rotation will be considered; experienced APPs are strongly encouraged to apply
