About the PositionTravelNurseSource is working with job.com to find a qualified Pain Management RN in Rancho Mirage, California, 92270!
• Hours of operation: Monday – Friday; opens at 0545 until finish last case; usually at 1700; flexes with surgeon
• Patient Population:
• Adult interventional pain management procedures/18 years and older
o Hours of operation: M-F 0730 -1700
• Average Daily Census: 40
• Ratio is 1:3
• Float required according to skill level; possibly to the 2 locations (Rancho Mirage & Palm Springs)
• No Weekends, No call, No holidays
• Unit Details:
Procedural Unit with 10 bed pre/post, 2 procedure room, interventional pain management. 2/3 of cases are local, the rest are anesthesia. ACLS /BLS required, prefer pain management, PACU and/or OR nurse experience.
45 procedures/day; very busy. More of a procedures area (therefore the pain management/OR/PACU experience)
Less of a typical outpatient clinic area
• EPIC Charting
• Required Certs:
o ACLS, BLS
• 2 years minimum experience
• No first time travelers
*Scrubs not provided - plain black scrubs with no emblems
